Today we welcome Jane Conquest who has a wealth of experience and knowledge: Jane started her career in horticulture at 16 working in a plant nursery, a Saturday job, while still at school, and carried on to do a degree in Horticulture. After university she worked in various Garden Centres propagating plants and selling them at a locally.

Jane furthered her education at Broomfield College and did a Certificate in Garden Design. One of her projects was designing a Courtyard garden, it was chosen for entry to Chelsea Flower show and was awarded a silver Guild Medal.

Jane then started teaching the RHS Level 2, on finishing teaching she has opened her garden for the NGS which she has developed over the last 40 years and carried on propagating and selling plants.
