Back in the 80s and 90s Gerry was a professional botanist  surveying, teaching and leading walks for many different organisations.  Now retired, Gerry has returned to botany and back to leading walks and teaching native plant ID for the Botanical Society of the British Isles.

Gerry also sits on various committees considering ecological aspects of our green spaces.
