Founder Member retires

Neil Grant was one of FOBS first members. He attended the inaugural meeting on 9 April 1984 and participated as a member of the Executive Committee in the early years. He and his wife Linda had set up Ferndale Garden Centre in 1982 and he kept FOBS members up to date with the latest garden trends with occasional lectures.

Management of Ferndale has now been taken over by British Garden Centres. The Friends send best wishes to Neil, Linda and their business partner Helen Watson in their retirement.
